Introducing my gorgeous friend with the most incredible work ethic-- MADLIN!
Madlin was born in a small town in Germany called Friedberg. Her mom is German and her dad is American, so her family was constantly moving back and forth between Germany, Florida, and Georgia. Madlin got used to always being the new kid in school. She traveled to NYC once for a wedding when she was young and absolutely fell in love with the city! She knew she wanted to move there one day, so after graduating high school when she was 18 years old, she immediately moved to NYC and has been here for over 5 years!
Madlin's first job for several years was modeling. She started when she was 15 years old in Atlanta, GA. Now it has become more of a hobby and she will occasionally do photoshoots here and there just for fun. She says that modeling is what really helped her to break out of her shell and gain confidence because she was always extremely shy growing up. Once she moved to NYC, Madlin worked in hospitality for 5 years at The Cooper Square Hotel, The Standard East Village, and then The Crosby Street Hotel. Working in hospitality proved her strong passion for people. Now she is currently working at Meyer Davis (an interior design firm) and is absolutely loving it!
Madlin is one of those types of people that is absolutely amazing at whatever she does! She is such a hard worker and is super diligent. We were roommates for a couple years and I was able to see first hand just how hard she works at what she does! She is obviously stunning and strikingly beautiful on the outside, but on the inside she is just as gorgeous! Her work ethic has always inspired me, as well as her faith and her genuine love for her friends and family. Also, she is an incredible and talented artist and has always loved to draw and paint since she was young.
Madlin would describe herself as a big dreamer and keeps a list of dreams/goals that she wants to accomplish. "Right now I am working on further paintings and getting my online business set up. (I am planning to launch my website in the near future!). I also have a list of places I want to travel to. I really, really love to travel and explore new cities. Last year I got to go to London for the first time and absolutely loved it! This year I am going to Switzerland and Italy. Next year I finally plan to travel to Paris for the first time (for example, one of my dreams for many years now has been to celebrate my 25th in Paris…so excited!)"
