Weekend getaways are a necessity when living in NYC. There's nothing quite like them, however they do require some planning. Most people in the city don't own a car and rely heavily on public transportation. Zach's parents were in town last weekend, so we planned a special getaway for the 4 of us to go upstate New York! We decided to get a car for the day and take the 2-2.5 hour drive to Mohonk Mountain House. I had never heard of this place before, but it was absolutely *stunning* in every way! I wanted to share my weekend look with you guys because it was perfect for a day getaway! Not to mention, it's also unintentionally July 4th inspired as well. I love wearing white denim in the spring + summer time, especially these cropped jeans with a fray hem. I wore my NA-KD denim ties shirt ((I've posted about this top once before)) and my Rebecca Minkoff bandana scarf. My favorite part about this look right now are these slides... they are my latest obsession! I got them from Live Fashionable, and have yet to take them off! They are so comfortable + chic, and go well with pretty much any look!
