Earth Tones

Earth tones ftw-- especially when buying classic silhouettes! I tend to keep things neutral when buying items that I know I will wear for a long time.... but when I buy more trendy items, it's fun to add in some color! Shift dresses are one of those timeless pieces that you can wear year after year. Also, who doesn't love wearing olive green!? I absolutely love the fabric of this Black Swan shift dress, as well as the lace up detailing. Not to mention, it's such a great item to wear as we transition into spring because the fabric is quilted so it's not too thin for those lingering chilly nights. I wore my favorite oversized Milly blazer over the dress, but decided to spice up the look a bit by wearing fishnets + my TopShop snakeskin boots. :)

Okay... I have to brag about Hieleven for a second-- which is the brand of my amazing blush bucket bag!! I cannot speak more highly of this brand! I am so impressed by the quality of my bucket bag, as well as the price!! Their average bag is $99, and I feel like you really get more than you pay for! I have to stop myself from carrying this bag every single day because I don't want it to get dirty... haha but I seriously love it so much and it goes so well with everything!! I had so much fun shooting this look in the Flatiron District. It's hard to get a bad photo when your backdrop is as dreamy as this area. I love NYC!! Especially now that the weather is warming up!
